Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE)

Delaware County is a member of Columbus 2020 via the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange (MODE). MODE is a membership organization of local economic development organizations from throughout the 11-county Columbus Region. MODE provides programming meant to increase awareness of economic development issues and best practices to continue to strengthen and grow local economies throughout central Ohio.

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC)

Delaware County is a member of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), which is a voluntary association of the 12-county Central Ohio region. It is made up of governments and regional organizations that envision and embrace innovative directions in transportation, energy, housing, land use, the environment and economic prosperity. MORPC strives to make Central Ohio competitive in the global marketplace and is dedicated to transforming existing communities, and promoting sustainability.

Delaware County and the Columbus Region have a very active Business Retention and Expansion program to help local businesses thrive in our community.
